RumiWatch Reader app for iPhone and iPad

Introduction:
RumiWatch is a sensor-based activity and health monitoring system for ruminants developed by research station Agroscope and ITIN+HOCH feeding technology. It serves for automatic registration and evaluation of behavioral parameters, allowing to generate profound information on the health state of the animal.
The RumiWatch Reader App allows to upload measurement data generated by the RumiWatchSystem to web-based cloud storage. Measurement data of the herd can be accessed using a smartphone or computer on the road or from home.

Features :
* Live View: displaying the animal’s activities in real time
* Unit Status: allowing to check the current recording and battery status of a RumiWatch unit
* Cloud Upload: enabling storage of measurement data in a web-based data cloud

Measurement data are transferred and stored to a server, enabling the farmer, veterinarian or consultant permanent monitoring of healthy, noticeable and affected animals in the herd.

* The App will only show its full functionality when using it in combination with RumiWatch noseband sensors and pedometers.
* The App will only enable communication with RumiWatch noseband sensors and pedometers when using a Wahoo® ANT+ dongle for wireless data transmission (lightening to 30-pin adapter required for iPhone 5/iPad 4th generation and newer).
* Data will be uploaded automatically to the cloud storage when the app is opened.
* Agroscope and ITIN+HOCH are not liable for data loss.
* Uploaded data are accessible to Agroscope and ITIN+HOCH for product improvement.
